Napha, the creator of the soap, grew up hearing stories of her grandfather—who rode his horse to work as a schoolteacher in Thailand. Though she never met him, his legacy lives on in the spirit of this bar.

Cam, Napha’s husband and co-creator, served in the U.S. Army’s Old Guard at Fort Myer, Virginia, where he worked with the Caisson Platoon—conducting ceremonial missions on horseback at Arlington National Cemetery. It’s safe to say, his time with horses earned him some major points when he asked Napha to marry him.
