Tobacco and Oud is about the manliest manly man smell I have personally ever experienced. I don’t care what certain people say, tobacco is delightful all by itself as far as I’m concerned, and if you haven’t experienced Oud you’re missing out on a very cool cross-section of life in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, this soap doesn’t smell like the dog that ate the south facing end out of a dead northbound cow, but it could certainly wash it off of him. We use activated charcoal as the only colorant for this bar, to help filter the stink off of you.

Penny Street Soap Company is a small business which prides itself in creating a range of artisan soaps. This doesn’t simply mean creating a soap that is pleasant to look at. When we think artisan soap, we think about a soap that appeals to people aesthetically speaking of course, but also also fits their skin needs.

In fact, our customer base’s skin needs are just as important to us as creating a product that the average person would like to view and use. We have taken the time to develop several different formulations of oils for our bar soaps, with more to come as our customers communicate their needs and wants.

Our current line up bar soap formulas

Alpha Formula – Our simplest list of ingredients and oils, formulated for those of us with sensitive skin or allergies. As its our simplest formula we keep the aesthetics of this bar simple as well. It only comes in solid colors. It will only ever be scented with natural essential oils, and is the only formula we offer unscented. This formula is also good for a wide range of skin types.

Lima Formula – Depending on your skins particular needs, this would likely be the most oil stripping. If you have particularly oily skin or problem areas try this.

Palm Formula – Depending on your skins particular needs, this bar formula can also strip substantial oils from you skin. A good soap to try for oily skin.

Midnight Sol Formula – This formula is our middle of the road offering as far as being tailored to particularly dry or oily skin. if you think your skin is pretty normal, this would likely be a great bar formula for you.

Cocoa Formula – Depending on your skins particular needs, this bar formula was created for dryer than average skin types. Depending on why your skin is flaky or dry this may be the soap for you.
